Minnesota Tibetans Bracing to Celebrate Tibetan New Year with the Dalai Lama

Interview with Ngawang Chemi, Vice- President, Tibetan-American Foundation of Minnesota. Chemi said that preparations to celebrate Losar (Tibetan New Year) with the Dalai Lama, is going on in full swing and the local Tibetan youth are participating in every aspect of it. He further said that over 4,000 Tibetans are expected to gather for the event on March 2, when their respective groups will present the Dalai Lama with a ‘thank you’ souvenir for all his sincere dedication in leading the Tibetan people since the tender age of 16.
