Tibet Crisis raised at UN Rights session in Geneva

Interview with Tenzin Samphel Kayta, who presented Tibet’s case at the UN Human Rights Council on Tuesday, September 11. Kayta said that another NGO too presented a statement on Tibet and that EU expressed serious concerns on what is happening in Tibet, along with Sweden, Czech Republic, U.S and Switzerland, among others. Kayta notes that this time the Chinese have yet to respond to the overwhelming support for Tibetan human rights during the on-going UN Human Rights session. The bi-annual session being held in Geneva, concludes on Sept 28.
