The Dalai Lama is scheduled to leave for Indian city of Bangalore after concluding his teachings on January 3, 2014.
The ten-day Lamrim teaching concluded on January 2, 2014.
The workshop was held for seven days starting December 25 to 31, 2013.
Markham Tenshug Committee offered a long life prayer to the Dalai Lama on January 1, 2014.
Geshe Jampa Wangden, the director of the meditation center said that the center has 10 rooms for 20 meditators with indoor basic facilities and a hall in the center.
The film received the best film award at the Delhi International Film festival on December 27, 2013.
Dr. Kulkarni said, for her, the Dalai Lama is a reincarnation of Lord Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi, so she prefers to call him ‘Guru’ instead.
"It is important to invite Buddhist practitioners from other countries and discuss on the practices on their sects," said the Dalai Lama.
The 7-day workshop is aimed to broaden the knowledge of Tibetan history, culture, religion, democracy, and the present situation inside Tibet.
He also said that Buddhism is the key that unifies Tibetans, and praised the monks who returned to Tibet to teach Buddhism to Tibetans inside Tibet.
According to the organizing committee of this teaching, about thirty thousand followers from over 60 countries had registered for the teaching including people from Tibet and China.
The teaching is expected to begin on December 25 till January 3, 2014 for a duration of ten days.
