The Dalai Lama returned to his exile home of Dharamsala, North India on March 9, 2014 after nearly 20 days of the United States tour.

Tibetans and followers in Dharamsala gave a warm welcome after his successful meeting with the President of the United States, reciting Senate opening prayer, and meeting with lawmakers. The Dalai Lama also celebrated his first Losar outside Dharamsala with the Tibetans in Minnesota.

The Dalai Lama is scheduled to preside over a long life puja from Nechung Monastery on March 11th morning followed by opening of the new Tibetan Parliament building.
