Hundreds of Tibetan exiles held a special prayer service Thursday for Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Dorje Khandu, who, along with four others, died in a hellicopter crash.
The prayer service held at Tsuklakhang temple in Himachal Pradesh was organised by the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA).
The Tibetan parliament-in-exile in a condolence message Wednesday, said: "The state of Arunachal Pradesh and the Tibetan people have had historical relationship, which was further strengthened and deepened during the tenure of Khandu's chief ministership."
The message expressed condolence to the family members of the late chief minister and the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
Mr Dorjee Khandu was sworn in as the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh in 2007.
