Delhi College Students Organizes Tibet Solidarity Protest

Delhi college students carry out Tibet solidarity march

Hundreds of Indian and Tibetan students marched across Delhi University in solidarity with Tibetans inside Tibet.

Delhi University Students Union [DUSU] jointly organised the protest march for Tibet with Students for a Free Tibet India.

Led by DUSU Joint Secretary Mr. Deepak Bansal, more than 200 college students from Khalsa, Miranda, House, St. Stephens, Hindu, Ramjas, Dhauladram, Kirori Mal, and Hans Raj took part in the protest march against Beijing's repressions in Tibet. "We strongly condemn the killings in Tibet. The Indain people, Delhi University Student Union and other Indian students will never tolerate this." Deepak Bansal while addressing the students at the Arts Faculty of Delhi University.

Students Unions of Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh, and other Himalayn regions also joined the protest to express their solidarity. Mr. Stanzin Khakhyab, President of Ladakh Students Union also addressed the gathering.
