Speaker of Tibetan Parliament Gives Talk at JNU
The Speaker of Tibetan Parliament in Exile, Penpa Tsering gave a talk on "Central Tibetan Administration: Achievements and Challenges," at a panel discussion held at Jawaharlal Nehru University [JNU] on April 7, 2014.

Chaired by Professor Yeshi Choedon of JNU, the other speakers were Supreme Court Lawyer, Naresh Mathur; the Director of the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives, Geshe Lhakdor; Poet and Activist, Tenzin Tsondue; and Professor Honey Oberoi from Ambedkar University.

Inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of JNU Professor Sopori, the panel discussion was held as a part of the 'Tibet Day Festival' organized by the JNU Tibet Forum.

Mainly targeted for Indian students of the university, the festival was organized to show culture and religion of Tibet through photo exhibitions, movie screening, Tibetan medicine, dance and music, book, and food stalls.
