Karmapa Addresses Indian and Tibetan Buddhists

The 17th Karmapa Ugen Trinley Dorje addressed at a large gathering of Indian and Tibetan Buddhists at Kalachari, near Dharamsala on Wednesday. The Karmapa thanked the Himachal government for its assistance to the Tibetan people and said the northern state has been a second home for many Tibetans.Indresh Kumar, vice president of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha, Vice Chancellor of Himachal University in Shimla and Gyari Dolma,Home Minister of the Central Tibetan Administration spoke at the gathering.

The daylong programme on “Indian and Tibetan Buddhists” was organized by Himalaya Pariwar, a Tibet support group in India.
