Dalai Lama Returns to Dharamsala After US Visit

Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama returned to Dharamsala today after concluding his 14-day visit to the US.

Hundreds of people, carrying traditional scarves, incense sticks and flowers, lined the roads to welcome the Tibetan spiritual leader while he went to his monastery from the airport after being received by Prime Minister of the Tibetan Government-in-Exile Samdhong Rinpoche.

During the trip which began on May 1, the Dalai Lama visited California, Minnesota, Arkansas, Texas and New Jersey to hold a series of public talks on compassiona, leadership and non-violence.
