Dalai Lama's Britain Tour creates Tickets Rush

The Dalai Lama’s announced address at a theater in Scotland has led to jammed telephone lines at its box office. The Tibetan spiritual leader is scheduled to visit London, Manchester and three Scottish cities during the summer of 2012 as part of a wider UK tour. He will speak at events in Dundee, Edinburgh and Inverness between June 21 and 24. The Eden Court Theater in Inverness has posted a message on its Facebook page explaining why the ticket phone lines may be difficult to get through. It said: "The huge demand for Dalai Lama tickets means that our phones are very busy, which is why some people may have experienced difficulty getting through. "We have staff on every one of our box office phones and we are currently working to capacity. We advise that you keep trying and please be patient. You can also book tickets in person at our box office."
