The exiled Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama arrived in San Diego Tuesday to deliver addresses at three major local universities.
He is scheduled to discuss climate change with scientists at UC San Diego on Wednesday. Following the talk, the 76-year-old buddhist leader will discuss "Cultivating Peace Through Justice" at the University of San Diego.
On Thursday, the Dalai Lama will be at San Diego State University to present talks on upholding ethics and compassion in challenging times.
