A Chinese-English-Tibetan Dictionary of New Daily Vocabulary was launched Thursday by Thupten Lungrik, Minister of Education of the Central Tibetan Administration in India.
The dictionary was first published in Tibet by Rev. Thupten Nyima Rinpoche and Tashi Tsering in 2009.
Khawa Karpo Tibetan Culture Centre, a non-profit organization in Dharamsala reprinted the 975 pages long dictionary which contains more than ten thousand words.
Mr. Tsultrim Lodoe and about 50 scholars in Tibet took three years to put together the dictionary.
