Tibetans from Washington, D.C., area and the Tibetan children from New York and New Jersey held a solidarity hunger strike with three Tibetans who have been on indefinite hunger strike since April 2 at the United Nations in New York. The hunger strike organized by Dharmsala-based Tibetan Youth Congress is seeking the United Nations help in getting China to repeal Tulku Tenzin Delek’s death sentence and also asking the UN General Assembly to resume its debate on the question of Tibet based on its resolutions passed in 1959, 1961 and 1965.
