Tibetan stringer Gedun Rinchen reported that the differences in pay between Chinese and Tibetan workers force many Tibetan workers to leave railroad construction work. Tibetans are not only paid lower than Chinese workers are but in some cases Tibetans did not get even paid on time. The Chinese are called technicians and the Tibetans are called laborers.
