Representatives of the Former Tibetan Political Association visited three European countries France, England and Belgium. The Ven. Yeshe Topden who led the delegation says the visits to three countries were “very successful.” He says this time they not only met with representatives of the various NGOs, but also government officials who are responsible in dealing with China. The delegation had the opportunity to brief these officials on the current situation in Tibet and also urged the officials to put pressure on Beijing concerning the release of all political prisoners and begin earnest negotiations with the representatives of the Dalai Lama.
