VOA Tibetan stringers reported that Tibetans in India and Nepal observed anniversary of conferring Nobel Peace Prize to the Dalai Lama and Human Rights Day. The Dalai Lama was the chief guest at a function commemorating Human Rights Day in New Delhi. The Tibetan leader talked about the importance of human rights and self-determination. Tibetan Youth Congress in New Delhi marked the Human Rights Day by demonstrating against China’s occupation of Tibet and its gross violations of human rights in Tibet.
