Dalai Lama’s Darjeeling Visit Wrap - 2003-12-08


Tibetan stringer Tsering Migmar reported that the Dalai Lama left Darjeeling this morning for New Delhi after a successful visit to Darjeeling. In the past few days, the Dalai Lama gave Buddhist teachings, public talks to thousands of peopled who came from all over the Himalayan regions and also people from Western countries. Hundreds of people lineup to bid farewell to the Tibetan leader. The Dalai Lama said that he was very happy to be in Darjeeling and commended the organizer for doing an excellent job.
