Taiwan reacted to the latest of China’s warnings that it is prepared to go to war, if necessary, to stop what it calls Taiwan’s drive for independence.
A spokesman for the Taiwan’s Mainland Affairs office said that such threat would not promote better relations across the Taiwan straits, instead it will hurt the Taiwan people’s desire for reunification. And also, unnecessary attacks on the Taiwan President do not serve any purpose, the spokesman added.
