Dalai Lama Ended His a three Week Visit to the United States - 2003-09-25


Tibetan staff Namgyal Shastri reported the Dalai Lama's three-week visit wrap. Yesterday before he left for India, the Dalai Lama spoke at the International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims in New York and he commended the group’s work before a host of human rights leaders and government dignitaries. The Tibetan leader said that it is very important as members of human society to pay particular attention to the individuals who have suffered at the hands of of fellow human beings or a group of people.
