Tibetan stringer Tsering Migmar reported that Tibetans in the Amdo (Qinghai) area have boycotted Chinese restaurants and shops and as a result more than 200 restaurants and shops owned by Chinese Muslims have gone bankrupt. The campaign is also spreading to other parts of Tibet. Political analysts draw a parallel between the boycott in Amdo to that of Gandhi’s boycott of British made goods.
