Tibetan stringer Gedun Rinchen reported that the Nepalese government has given permission this year for the Tibetan community to celebrate the birthday of the Dalai Lama on July 6. In the past years the government hat not permitted Tibetans to celebrate the Dalai Lama’s birthday. Tibetans welcome the Nepalese government attitude. Recently, Nepal was a subject of a severe international criticism for deporting 18 Tibetans.
