Dalai Lam Leaves Denmark for India - 2003-06-10


The Dalai Lama concluded his five-day visit in Denmark and left this morning for New Delhi, India. During his visit, the Tibetan leader met with Danish Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and members of the Parliament. He also gave Buddhist teachings for four days to hundreds of Danish, Europeans and Americans. The Dalai Lama began his three-nation European tour on May 30, arriving in Germany. He also visited Sweden during which he met with members of the Swedish Parliament.
