Tibetan stringer Thupten Gelek reported that the Dalai Lama will arrive in Germany on May 28 and during his weeklong visit, he will address the first ever Ecumenical Congress in Berlin on May 30. This Congress has been organized by two Christian organizations: the Central Committee of German Catholics and the German Protestant Kirchentag. The Tibetan leader will also visit Munich and address an International Congress in Sciences that will discuss medicine in its cultural context with participants from different medical traditions, including Tibetan medicine.
