Dharmsala Welcomes Indian PM’s Proposed Visit to China - 2003-05-14

Tibetan exile government in Dharmsala welcomed the proposed visit of Indian Prime Minister to China next month as announced by yesterday by Indian Defense Minister George Fernandes.

Fernandes visited China last month for week, and is a staunch supporter of the exile Tibetan cause. Mr. Dagpo Sonam, spokesman for the Tibetan government-in-exile welcomed the proposed visit of the Indian Prime Minister and expressed the hope that the visit would also have a positive impact on Tibetan issues.
