Dalai Lama to Pay Eleven-day Visit to Arunachal Pradesh - 2003-04-28


Tibetan stringer Tsering Migmar reported that the Dalai Lama left Dharmsala sunday for New Delhi and during the next 11 days he will be visiting the state’s Buddhist-dominated districts West Kameng and Tanwang. The Tibetan leader is scheduled to consecrate the site for establishment for the Central Institute of Himalayan Cultural Studies at Dahung in West Kameng whoch would be the fourth of its kind in the country. The other three are located at Saranath, Ladakh and Nalanda.
