Tibetan stringer Tsering Lhamo reported that thousands of people danced and sang with the Beasit Boys, Taiwanese groups and Tibetan flutist when they gave Tibetan freedom Concert sunday in Taipei. The secretary general from the office of the Taiwan president came and gave a speech. He said that both Tibetans and Taiwanese need freedom and this concert would help to promote an awareness of that. The representative of the Dalai Lama Mr. Tsegyam also gave a speech, thanking the musicians and singers and saying that the Tibetan issue is not just political, but it is also religious and cultural. This is the first time that such concert has been organized in Taiwan.
