Tibetans Welcome Dalai Lama in Nainital, in northern India - 2003-04-10


Tibetans in Nainital, a small town in Northern India, welcomed the Dalai Lama this morning, on his way from New Delhi to Mussoorie. Nainital is a holiday resort and it has only a small Tibetan community. The community extended an invitation to the Dalai Lama to visit Nainital so that he can rest. The leader of the community says that he and the rest of the community were overjoyed that the Dalai Lama accepted their invitation.
