Tibetans in Delhi staged a protest against last month’s execution of Tibetan activist Lobsang Thondup by China. About 250 women and students held a peaceful demonstration against what they called the “shocking and horrific” execution of 28-year-old Lobsang Thondup on January 26. Lobsang Thondup, along with Tenzin Delek Rinpoche, 53, was sentenced to death on December 2 by a court in southwestern China’s Sichaun province for carrying out three bombings in 2001 and 2002 that killed one person.
