Tibetan Exiled Chief Executive expresses his Hope that Tibetan Leaders in Tibet Will Support Dialogue - 2003-01-21

Chairman of the Tibetan Cabinet Samdhong Rinpoche, addressing more than 2,000 Tibetans from Tibet in Bodh Gaya, says that he hopes the Tibetan leaders in Tibet would lend their support for a Sino-Tibetan dialogue to resolve the problems. Rinpoche says by the middle of this year, the Tibetan government-in-exile will be quite clear whether there is going to be a dialogue with Chinese leaders or not. However, he says that he is optimistic about the dialogue that will lead to a solution of the Sino-Tibetan problems.
