China’s top official in Muslim Xinjiang has vowed to intensify a crackdown on the “three evils” of terrorism, separatism and extremism just days after a top U-S human rights official toured the area. “We will take the initiative of attacking when they emerge. We will take pre-emptive action to defeat them,” said Wang Lequan, Communist Party secretary of Xinjing.
