India and China to Meet Again Over Border Dispute - 2002-11-26

India and China agreed to hold more talks on the border issues early next year to try to narrow differences over their border that sparked war in 1962. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Indian Foreign Secretary Kanwal Sibal led the talks, which “were held in a positive and forward-looking manner,” the Indian foreign ministry said in a statement. It did not elaborate. The diplomats are scheduled to meet in Beijing in January 2003.
