Dalai Lama Meets Karnataka Governor - 2002-11-26


Thousands of Tibetans and Indians welcomed the Dalai Lama as he arrived in Bylakuppe, Tibetan settlements in South India this morning. The governor of the state of Karanataka also came from Bangalore to greet the Dalai Lama and had a private meeting with the Tibetan spiritual leader. The governor said that he has met the Dalai Lama several times before, and every time he has had the chance to meet him, it was a source of inspiration and joy.
