The Dalai Lama congratulated more than 30 graduates at Mondeling Monastery in Dehradun today, and said the study of Buddhism “is extremely important.” The study of Buddhism should not be the exclusive privilege of the monastic community and the lay community should also study Buddhism and understand its deep meaning.
