Tibetans mark Dalai Lama’s birthday བོད་སྐད།


Tibet's revered spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, marks his 74th birthday Monday.

Thousands of Tibetans living in India and Nepal have come to Dharamsala in India's north, the Dalai Lama's home in exile, to celebrate the occasion.

Tibetan in the United States marked the Dalai Lama's 74th birthday with a day of community service Sunday. Volunteers in Minnesota and Washington, DC served meals at homeless shelters.
