Tibetan Minister Says Sino-Tibet Talks Fruitful བོད་སྐད།


A cabinet member of the Tibetan government-in-exile says the 8th rounds of talks that were held Chinese officials were fruitful despite the public perception’sfailure of the talks.

"The administration of the Tibetan Government in Exile considersthe eight rounds of Sino-Tibet talks extremely fruitful," says Kalon ( cabinet minister) Thubten Lungrik while giving a public talk at Samyeling Tibetan Camp in Delhi on Monday.

He further elaborated on the two main issues that the two sides could not agreed on. The issues are: “Our refusal to recognizeTibet as part of China historically and our demand for genuine autonomy for all three provinces of Tibet.”He also spoke on the Middle Path Policy of Tibetan Government in Exile and said that it was not imposed onthe Tibetan people bythe Dalai Lama but it was decision of the Tibetan people by democratic means.
