Former Indian Paresident Abdul Kalam met Dalai Lama at Dharmshala. His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Kalon Tripa received former Paresident at Kangra Airport.
'The spiritual leader received Kalam at Kangra airport at 3 p.m. and accompanied him to his official palace,' Tenzin Taklha, a senior aide to the exiled leader, told IANS.
'The duo (Kalam and the Dalai Lama) shared their thoughts during the 45-minute meeting at the latter's palace,' he said.
He said during the one-hour journey from the airport to the palace they also shared their thoughts.
After meeting at the residence of Dalai Lama, Dr. Kalam left for Hamirpur to attend a seminar of National Institute of Technology.
