Dalai Lama continued with his Poland visit. The Dalai Lama said the struggle over Tibet can be resolved "within a few days" if China becomes a more open society. He said, "if the Chinese leaders use common sense and realistic approach, or face the reality, then there is possibility to find a solution to the Tibetan issue."
The Dalai Lama was speaking Friday to a youth group participating in an event marking 25 years of conferment of Nobel peace prize on Lech Walesa, former Solidarity leader and President of Poland. When democracy takes root in China, including the rule of law and freedom of the press, the issue of Tibet will be solved in a few days, the Dalai Lama said today.
