Britain Shares Tibet’s “Frustration” over Lack of Progress in Talks བོད་སྐད།

Britain shares Tibet’s frustration over lack of progress in Sino-Tibetan dialogue. Britain’s Foreign Office Minister Bill Rammell says he welcomes the renewed commitment from the Tibetan exile movement to pursue a sustainable solution to the underlying issues in Tibet through dialogue with China.

The Tibetans also made commitment to attain their goals through non-violent methods as strongly instructed by their leader the Dalai Lama. “The British government shares their frustration that it has not yet been possible to make substantive progress on the issues so far,” Mr. Rammell added.
