Tibetan Victim in Delhi Bomb Blast Recuperating བོད་སྐད།

Minutes after the bomb exploded in Connaught Place, 38-year old Jamyang Tsering, a Tibetan who suffered serious splinter injuries on his abdomen, hand and face walked to catch an auto rickshaw to go to Majnu Ka Tilla where he lives. Instead, the sensible Indian auto driver dropped him at Ram Manohar Lohia hospital.

"I am still on soup and fruit juice since I got injured." said Jamyang Tsering, who runs a food joint in Majnu Ka Tilla. He is now out of ICU and is being treated at hospital. Thubten Tsering who is helping him at the hospital says, "Once he recovers from the present surgery he will be screened for more splinters. He has multiple injuries."

On September 13, 2008 bombs rocked Delhi's three most crowded markets: Connaught Place, Karol Bagh and Greater Kailash M-Block Market. The explosions killed 23 people and injured more than hundred.
