The summit for peace aspires to advance the core concerns of the Nobel Peace Laureates and international experts and to influence the processes of policy making, nationally and internationally, in order to make systemic change. Chungdak Koren, leader of the Norwegian Tibet Committee, and Tenzin Paldon, Editor of Voice of Tibet , will represent the Tibetans at the summit. The summit which begins today in Norway will continue to till Sept. 12. During the summit Mrs. Koren is scheduled to give a presentation on the current situation in Tibet and also the activities of the Tibetan NGOs. Ms. Paldon will give a speech on the role of media at the summit. Mrs Tenzin Paldon is also attending the meeting of International Association of Women in Radio and Television from 10-18 September.
