"Leaving Fear Behind" is a secretly filmed documentary on ordinary Tibetans' views on Chinese rule and the Olympics, and their hopes for the return of their exiled spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama.
On the eve of the Olympic Games in Beijing, a group of Europe-based Tibetans managed to screen the documentary inside the room of a Beijing hotel. The film was made inside Tibet by a Tibetan farmer and a Tibetan monk; both are now detained.
Kunleng invites Tsutim Gyatso, a member of the "Filming for Tibet" and a relative of one of the filmmakers, to discuss about the documentary and how the footage was smuggled out.
