Around 100 TYC activists mostly monks took a protest demonstration at UN office in New Delhi Wednesday.
"We have organised this protest to call the UNO to help support the five-point demands of our 'Indefinite Fast for Tibet - Without Food and Water' which is on its day 3." says Tenzin Norsang, Joint Secretary of Tibetan Youth Congress.
The protest demonstration began from Khan Market and end at UN office. Around 60 police personnel were deployed to control the protesters. After protesting around one hour, the protesters were transported to Jantar Mantar by the police where the fast is going on. The health of six Tibetans who are on fast were deteriorating day by day. But none of them is very serious.
