The practice of Tibetan Buddhism and reverence for the Dalai Lama have gone beyond the the borders of Tibet for centuries. And last week, after giving sermons and public talks to thousands of regular Americans at Lehigh University, the Dalai Lama reconnected with many of these peoples by speaking to Kalmuk Mongolians and Himalayan peoples who live in the United States.
Kunleng invites Tibetan Service staffers Tseten Chodon and Norbu Samphel who covered these events to discuss the Dalai Lama’s visit to Pennsylvania and New York.
