More than two dozen Tibetan exiles carried an alternative Olympic torch through India's capital Thursday to protest China's rule over Tibet.
The relay arrived in New Delhi after beginning in Olympia, Greece on March 10th, much like the official Olympic torch relay. The shadow relay has traveled through several countries, and will now go to several Indian cities over the next month.
Organizer Tsering Choedup says the demonstration is meant to highlight China's unjust occupation of Tibet.
Tibetan exiles in both India and Nepal have been holding almost daily anti-China protests, after China's March crackdown on anti-government protesters in Tibet.
