The Dalai Lama’s April 6th statement to Tibetans worldwide བརྙན་འཕྲིན།

The Dalai Lama's April 6th Statement, issued almost a month after the start of the current crises in Tibet, consists of 13 points, including one urging the practice of non-violence and one reiterating the importance of not wavering from the path of non-violence no matter how difficult the situation might become to continue it. These and some of the others elements of the statement are in direct contradiction to how Beijing has sought to portray the Tibetan uprising to the Chinese public.

This week's Kunleng invites Dr. Lobsang Sangay, Harvard Law School and Mr. Lobsang Nyandak, Ex-Minister in the Tibetan government in exile, to discuss the Statement and it’s possible impact on the current upheaval in Tibet and China.
