Rights Groups Urge President Bush to Broach Human Rights Violations with Chinese Leaders before Beijing Olympics བོད་སྐད།

A coalition of human rights groups such as Amnesty International, International Campaign for Tibet and others urged President Bush today at a protest rally in front of the White House to broach the human rights violations in China with Chinese leaders before he leaves for Beijing. The rights groups say that the Chinese government has clearly not delivered on its promises to the International Olympic Committee and the global community to improve human rights in Tibet and in China. In fact, human rights situation has gone worst, Mr. T. Kumar of Amnesty International added.
