Sino-India Relations on Tibet

Indian Prime Minister ManMohan Singh will be visiting China this coming Sunday and one of the key items on his agenda will inevitably be the border dispute between the two countries. Kunleng looks at the possible outcomes of the Prime Minister’s visit , and the impact of future Sino-India relations on Tibet and the Tibetan refugees living in India. Discuss the extend to which Tibet may still be an issue in Chinese Indian relations, and why the Indian government hasn’t played a meaningful role in resolving the Tibet problem, including the Dalai Lama's ‘middle path’ proposal.

Kunleng invites Mr. Tashi Wangdi, the representative of the Dalai Lama to the US and former Tibetan representative at New Delhi, and Acharya Yeshi Phontsok, program director of Tibetan Parliament and policy research center in New Delhi.
