The Missing Peace: Artists Consider the Dalai Lama བོད་སྐད།


This week’s Kunleng looks at The Missing Peace exhibition which just opened at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. The show is subtitled ‘Artists consider the Dalai Lama’ and presents the work of 88 artists from 30 different countries, and is the first major visual arts exhibition that explores the ideas, activities and impact of the Dalai Lama. The program will include an interviews with artists, curator and Sharon Stone, who was the host for the opening night gala event. Host Changchub Dolma will interview Mr. Tenzing Tethong, President of Palo Alto based Dalai Lama Foundation, one of the organizers of the exhibition, and Losang Gyatso, one of the two participating Tibetan artists.
