Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer met with the Dalai Lama this morning, drawing a protest from Chinese Embassy. The early morning meeting took place in the chancellery and lasted about 45 minutes. The two leaders discussed about the situation in Tibet and also on the problems of violence and terrorism in today's world, the Dalai Lama's envoy Kesang Gyaltsen said. The Tibetan leader warped up his Austria visit and has arrived in Germany. The Dalai Lama is scheduled to meet the German Chancellor Angela Merkel this coming Sunday, September 23.
