The United Nations marks the 10th anniversary of the UN International Day in support of Victims of Torture, the Tibetan Center for Human Rights and Democracy (TCHRD) observed the day in support of victims of torture throughout the world. The UN Secretary General has also issued a statement in which he expressed his "solidarity with the suffering of torture victims and their families, and reaffirm the need for a global commitment to rehabilitate all victims of all such abuse."
